YKK AP America Strengthens Western Region Presence Through Key Promotions

Herber joins YKK AP and Gibson and Rios move into new roles in the Houston and Dallas Branches

As a part of its continuing strategy to strengthen its base of operations in Texas and support further expansion to West Coast markets, YKK AP America, Inc. (YKK AP) announces the hire of Dave Herber as its first California-based Architectural Sales Representative and the promotions of Evan Gibson and Jessica Rios. Gibson has assumed the role of Branch Manager of the Houston branch and Rios is now Operations Manager of the Dallas branch.

In his new role, Gibson assumes total responsibility for company operations and customer satisfaction in Southern Texas and the Gulf Coast region, including field sales and profit and loss. Gibson joined YKK AP in January 2015 as service center manager in Houston. Since that time, Gibson has played an instrumental role in improving both front and back end operations at the location.

Rios first joined YKK AP in May 2014 as a project manager. Within that role, she actively worked to provide positive influence on service to the Texas region. In her new role in Dallas she will oversee all front end customer service and estimating support services for northern Texas, surrounding states, and the West Coast.

Herber joins the company with significant years of façade industry experience in business development and architectural consulting service in southern California where he will represent the brand in major markets such as Los Angeles and San Diego.

The company hopes to add additional representation in the San Francisco Bay area in the very near future and has already established a transportation and logistics system to service the state of California from its base of operations in Texas.
