YKK AP Takes Home Three Wins in the 2023 Architectural Products Product Innovation Awards
ATLANTA, GA. (Dec. 13, 2023) – YKK AP America today announced it took home three Architectural Products 2023 Product Innovation Awards (PIAs) for its YHS 50 TU Storefront System, T Series Entrance Systems and its leadership within the architectural products industry.
The Architectural Products PIAs determine and honor innovation in the development and refinement of buildings-related products that range the gamut from cladding systems to interior finishes. Judged by a group of independent industry professionals, the program represents a mechanism to impartially review products and present to readers items their peers found innovative and worth investigating. From a record-breaking number of submissions, nearly 80 products illustrated impressive innovation in terms of form, functionality, or sustainability and won PIAs this year.
The YHS 50 TU Storefront System is the most recent addition to the company’s ProTek® family of impact and blast-resistant products. It meets the construction industry’s continued need for fast installation and high thermal performance, while withstanding the most demanding conditions.
The T Series of high-performance thermal entrance systems were introduced in March of 2023, and provide a clean aesthetic with a narrow sightline, along with high thermal performance.
