YKK AP APPOINTS COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Ayako Fujiwara will ensure YKK AP meets the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements

AUSTELL, GA (July 26, 2021) – Today YKK AP America Inc. (YKK AP) announced the appointment of Ayako Fujiwara as Compliance Manager, where she will oversee auditing and regulatory compliance for the company. This appointment reflects YKK AP’s commitment to excellence and to ensuring a safe, healthy workplace for its employees, customers and the communities in which it works.

Fujiwara will draw on her more than 11 years of experience in the manufacturing industry to lead the compliance charge at YKK AP. She will guide strategic development and execution of accounting and business audit controls. Fujiwara will also ensure proper processes are optimized, implemented and enforced, and she will serve as the liaison between external and internal auditors. 

Most recently, Fujiwara served as senior accountant in manufacturing and operations for Novelis in Atlanta. Previously, she held the position of senior auditor at Ernst & Young.
