YKK AP America’s ThermaShade Sun Control System Receives RECORD PRODUCTS Award
YKK AP America’s ThermaShade Sun Control System was honored as one of Architectural Record’s products of the year during Architectural Record’s 2015 RECORD PRODUCTS awards.
RECORD PRODUCTS, the annual competition of Architectural Record, drew more than 500 entries ranging from building materials to finishes and furnishings. A panel of judges who specialize in products and specification from leading architecture and design firms were invited to rate the products based on submissions. Products were judged based on criteria ranging from innovation to aesthetics. The winners, including YKK AP, were published in the December 2015 issue of Architectural Record.
“It is a tremendous honor to be chosen as a winner in the RECORD PRODUCTS awards amongst such challenging competition,” said Oliver Stepe, senior vice president, YKK AP America. “This is a significant award contest because the products are judged by staff who work with and evaluate thousands of products every year. To be selected by the editorial is an incredible honor.”
