YKK AP Names Robert Colon as Manager for the Los Angeles Sales and Manufacturing Center

Colon will manage operations and lead the company’s strategic growth in the region

ATLANTA, GA (March 26, 2024) – Today, YKK AP America Inc. (YKK AP) named Robert Colon as the regional manager for the Los Angeles Sales and Manufacturing Center. Colon will be responsible for managing all aspects of daily operations and driving sales within the region, which includes California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. He will work closely with Director of Branch Sales, Derick Clutchey.

“Robert comes to YKK AP with intricate knowledge of the glazing industry,” said Mike Turner, president of YKK AP’s commercial business group. “His proven industry expertise combined with his ability to successfully collaborate with customers and employees alike makes him the ideal fit for this position. Robert will be integral to our success as we deepen our sales and marketing efforts on the West Coast.” 

Colon has more than 20 years of experience in the glass industry. Most recently, he served as a production manager for Elite Glazing Group, where he effectively led a team in the fabrication of glazing systems for commercial projects. Colon also spent several years with Arcadia as a division manager, overseeing the storefront swing door production line.
