Located near Centennial Olympic Park, The Legacy at Centennial represents a high-density transformation of downtown Atlanta, converting a former half-acre surface parking lot into a 32-story, 265-unit luxury student housing skyscraper. Designed by CNNA Architects to complement the surrounding historic Fairlie-Poplar district aesthetic, the high-rise integrates street-level retail anchored beneath a structured parking podium and 29 residential floors ranging from single-bedroom units to five-bedroom suites tailored for students at nearby Georgia State University and the Atlanta University Center. The project balances extreme urban density with expansive lifestyle amenities, featuring a sky-deck resort environment equipped with a heated pool, spa, and outdoor Jumbotron alongside dedicated academic lounges and fitness studios. By replacing underutilized land with vibrant, vertically integrated housing, the complex serves as a landmark model for transit-oriented urban infill and modern off-campus living in Atlanta’s central business district.
