High-performance Finishes
YKK AP offers high-performance anodized and paint finishes manufactured and controlled in-house to ensure exceptional durability, color consistency, and long-term protection. From casting through finishing, our vertically integrated manufacturing process ensures consistent quality and finish integrity for demanding architectural applications.
Anodized Plus® Finishes
YKK AP’s Anodized Plus® finish is engineered to deliver superior durability, color consistency, and long-term protection. Unlike conventional anodizing, which relies on hot water sealing, our process uses an electro-deposited organic seal that fully closes anodic pores to protect against staining, corrosion, and environmental exposure.
Our vertical anodizing process improves color uniformity and finish quality by allowing complete drainage between processing stages and reducing the risk of contamination. This controlled process ensures consistent, reliable finishes across every project.
Anodized Plus® meets the rigorous AAMA 612 standard and is available in architectural colors including clear, champagne, medium bronze, dark bronze, black, and white.
Painted Finishes
YKK AP’s PVDF paint finishes deliver exceptional resistance to fading, chalking, and environmental exposure. Applied in-house, our finishes ensure superior color consistency and long-term performance. Available in standard and countless custom colors, our coatings meet the rigorous AAMA 2605 standard for architectural applications.
YKK AP is a member of the PPG Certified Applicators Program™ (CAP).
