THERMAL BREAK TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM
MegaTherm® Polyamide Systems
MegaTherm® is designed to reduce heat transfer while maintaining the structural strength required for demanding commercial applications. Using an automated process, two separate aluminum extrusions are mechanically joined with glass fiber–reinforced polyamide barrier strips, creating a continuous thermal break between interior and exterior framing that provides long-term thermal performance and durability.

POURED-AND-DEBRIDGED THERMAL BREAK TECHNOLOGY
THERMABOND PLUS® URETHANE SYSTEMS
ThermaBond Plus® uses a poured-and-debridged thermal break process in which liquid urethane is injected into an extrusion channel, cured, and mechanically separated to create a thermal barrier between interior and exterior aluminum. YKK AP’s proprietary adhesion process strengthens the bond between the urethane and aluminum framing, preventing dry shrinkage and ensuring long-term thermal performance and reliability.
