Leadership changes across commercial and residential manufacturing are designed to support quality, customer satisfaction and long-term growth

ATLANTA, GA (March 24, 2026) – YKK AP America Inc. (YKK AP) today announced the creation of its Manufacturing Excellence organization, along with leadership appointments across its commercial and residential manufacturing operations. The changes are designed to strengthen manufacturing performance, accountability and alignment as the business continues to grow.

Daymon Loyd has been promoted to lead the Manufacturing Excellence organization, which brings together manufacturing quality, engineering and maintenance under one structure. The organization is designed to improve coordination, accelerate problem-solving and drive more consistent execution across commercial manufacturing operations.

In this role, Loyd will oversee key YKK AP manufacturing priorities including customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, quality, equipment reliability, process optimization and strategic oversight of the Dublin plant’s investment and modernization programs.“Daymon’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to building a strong manufacturing organization that is well-positioned to support our customers and our long-term growth. To support its residential business, YKK AP has promoted Derek Bessenbacher to Residential Operations Manager. Bessenbacher will provide dedicated leadership and strengthen day-to-day execution in residential manufacturing. The move reflects the company’s focus on supporting continued growth in its residential operations through greater oversight and accountability.
