The Hotel at the University of Maryland solves a much-needed accommodations challenge for the College Park and greater Washington, DC region. Strategically located next to the University, the hotel will house the vast number of visitors to the College Park city and adjacent university campus. The AAA 4 Diamond certified hotel features luxury rooms and amenities with a variety of dining and retail outlets. The design team heavily relied on Erie’s Design Assist expertise to generate the finely tuned detailing and engineering aspects of Erie’s ENVIRO|FACADES® curtain wall. Special attention was paid to the solar shading system of the facade to enhance the well-being of the hotel’s occupants.
