YKK AP America Recognizes Top Performers at Annual Sales Meeting
Michelle Pearson becomes first female to win the President’s Award and Orlando takes home Branch of the Year for second consecutive year
AUSTELL, Ga. (May 9, 2019) – YKK AP America recognized its top performers of 2018 during its annual meeting at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Ga. The recipients were selected based on performance and growth during the 2018 fiscal year, as well as embodying the company’s core values.
Honorees included the Orlando branch who received the coveted Branch of the Year Award for the second consecutive year, and architectural sales representative, Michelle Pearson, who became the first female to be awarded the company’s most prestigious individual honor, the President’s Award. The Branch of the Year Award recognizes outstanding achievements in sales, profitability, operations and customer service excellence. Barry Wampler, who manages the Orlando team, accepted the award on behalf of the branch.
“After the tremendous growth and success of the Orlando branch last year, it’s an honor to be part of this team as they are recognized again for their continued outstanding work,” said Wampler. “I am extremely proud of this team for maintaining a superior level of performance throughout the last two years.”
Pearson, a member of the Baltimore branch for more than 17 years, was honored to take home the President’s Award, which recognizes the company’s highest performing sales representative.
“I’ve had a long and diverse career at YKK AP, and what our workforce accomplishes every day is truly inspiring,” said Pearson. “To be honored with this recognition is one of the proudest and most humbling moments of my career, and I’m thrilled to represent our amazing sales team through this accomplishment.”
YKK AP America, Inc. hosts this annual meeting to provide an opportunity to recognize the hard work and contributions of the company’s sales team members.
“It was an honor to bestow these awards on the many dedicated members of our team who are incredibly deserving of this recognition,” said Mike Turner, senior vice president of sales and marketing at YKK AP America Inc. “We look forward to the continued success of these honorees and their teams.”
